Sand-faced (frosted) plastic furniture legs: Cleaning and maintenance guide
Daily cleaning steps
Dry cloth dust removal
Gently sweep the surface with a soft dry cloth or a dust-removing brush, focusing on cleaning the dust in the texture gaps (avoid directly wiping with a wet cloth to prevent dust from clumping).
Every week, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to scrub along the texture of the sand surface to remove the accumulated dust in the grooves.
Stain treatment:
For light stains (such as coffee stains and fingerprints) : Use a slightly damp soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent (such as diluted dishwashing liquid) to gently wipe, then wipe with clean water and let it dry.
Stubborn stains (such as oil stains, crayon marks) : Gently rub along the texture with an eraser, or spray a small amount of alcohol (75% concentration) on a soft cloth and wipe. Avoid scratching forcefully to prevent damage to the matte layer.
Deep cleaning
Soak the sand feet in a neutral detergent water solution (diluted at a ratio of 1:100) for 5 to 10 minutes every quarter. Then gently scrub them with a soft-bristled brush. Finally, rinse them thoroughly with clean water and dry them (suitable for outdoor furniture feet).
Maintenance precautions
Avoid friction from hard objects:
When moving furniture, lift it instead of dragging it to prevent the sand surface feet from rubbing against the ground and causing wear on the particle layer (especially on rough cement floors).
Moisture-proof and sun-proof
After outdoor use, dry the water stains in time and avoid long-term exposure to the sun (ultraviolet rays may cause the sand surface to fade and become brittle). You can apply plastic maintenance agents (such as liquid paraffin) regularly to enhance the anti-aging ability.
Do not use strongly corrosive cleaning agents:
Avoid using 84 disinfectant, bleach or acidic cleaners (such as toilet cleaners) to prevent damage to the surface texture.
