The advantages of F-shaped nails over U-shaped nails in the woodworking field
In the field of woodworking, both F-shaped nails and U-shaped nails are commonly used connecting materials. However, F-shaped nails, due to their own characteristics, demonstrate unique advantages in multiple aspects.
In terms of fixation effect, F-straight nails have stronger penetration and deep fixation capabilities. Due to its sharp nail heads and slender shape, under the drive of the pneumatic nail gun, it can easily penetrate wood of different hardness, reach deep into the wood, and provide a firm single-point fixation effect. It is particularly suitable for scenarios that require vertical fixation and pursue stable connections, such as the assembly of furniture frames and the splicing of wood boards.
The fixing principle of U-shaped nails is to hold the wood in place by opening the nail feet on both sides. On harder wood, their penetrating power is relatively weak, and the fixing points are scattered on both sides. In cases where they need to withstand greater tensile or compressive forces, they may become loose or even fall off.
STANDARD HEAD
Standard head, more easy to nail in.
Features:
Glue collated.
Smooth surface: Galvanized finish for greater rust resistance.
Function: Use for moldings, picture-frame assembly, trim and cabinetry building.
